JULY IS THE FILM APPRECIATION MONTH IN RICHMOND!


As part of the Festival this year, Cinevolution Media Arts Society and Richmond Public Library are co-presenting a series of five seminars on film appreciation and film trends in Canada, China and India.

The seminars are free and open to the public. All participants will receive discount coupons for tickets to the Richmond International Film & Media Arts Festival. Plus two festival passes for all screenings and performances will be awarded during the prize draws at each seminar.

Film Review Contest

There will also be a Film Review Contest. Just write a review of your favourite film shown at the Richmond International Film & Media Arts Festival and you will be entered in a grand prize draw. Send your film reviews to filmreviews@yourlibrary.ca. Deadline for submission is August 8th and the winner will be announced on August 15th. All film reviews will be posted on the Richmond Public Library and Cinevolution Media Arts Society’s web sites. Contest judge is Jessica Bradford, award winning writer and director.
